NOMINATING COMMITTEE FUNCTION
The Nominating Committee at the County Convention is appointed at the Party Headquarters. This is why it is important to be active and seek to be on these committees. Decent, traditional conservatives need to be in the majority.
The Nominating Committee meets in advance of the County Convention and determines who will represent the County at the State Convention. This is done according to the rules of the State Party.
The Nominating Committee meeting is open but non-committee members may not be involved in the work of the committee unless they wish to seek a committee position at the State Convention. In this case, the seeker presents his/her “Resume” to the Committee.
